If you’re a manager kiss your free time good bye and know you will never grow out of your position lucky to ever get a raise I only received one in my five years there. I worked on both ends and it was not worth it even being in the union was a constant headache with other coworkers putting pressure on you to turn on others or they will make life difficult for you. If you’re going to apply make sure you do not take a management of substitute position. It’s very high school and the toxic environment that is bred from it will drain you until you cannot anymore. If you’re and employee you get the sense that no one really wants to work everyone has a chip on their shoulder of entitlement which can make it difficult to fit in especially since everyone talks about eachother and causes problems for everyone. It’s a casino so there is a lot of shady stuff that goes on with the upper heads of certain departments but no one bothers checking as they rather focus on nonsense issues. It’s completely unprofessional environment where everyone minds each others business.
If you’re a manager be ready for the employees to cry like toddlers when things don’t go their way.
